- Voice feature is a huge benefit for us. This makes it much easier to navigate the menus. Some of the english is translated incorrectly, but still understandable.
- 110dB siren claim is accurate. I measured with a Radio Shack SPL meter at approx 1ft. Volume of course tapers off as you get further away. 110dB is loud, but not loud enough to cause permanent damage without prolonged exposure.
- The OEM manual has very broken English so I has happy to see that ASO includes their own customized manual. Very easy to follow and most importantly, it makes sense.
- Keypad is back-lit, but not the display
- Unlimited sensors are supported, but technically it only supports 16 unique coded sensors. If you order more than 16 sensors, ASO will send you a few sensors with the same identifier codes. 2 windows then become one zone instead of each being their own zone. Not a huge deal but keep that in mind if you plan on buying small now and adding more later.
- Door chime works great and was one of the main reasons I purchased
- Zone open warning also works great when attempting to arm with a window open.
- Optional 1 way keypad is a good idea for most setups. I placed ours in the garage.
