Alarmsellout, LLC. Terms and Policies


Thank you for taking the time to read our terms and policies as we have created them to better

serve our customers.  We try to keep our policies as straight forward as possible so there

are 'no surprises' down the road.

 

Although we truly value our customers business and truly want you to be our customer,

please do not purchase our products if you do not agree with our terms and policies.

 

Please understand we created our terms and policies for a reason; if we waived our terms and

policies at will, we might as well not even have them.  We hope that you are understanding of this.

 

 

 Product Warranty

Limited 1 Year Warranty:

 

All products are eligible for a FREE 1 YEAR WARRANTY.

To be eligible for this free warranty, the following must be true:

 

1:  You can provide: (a) a paypal transaction receipt (or transaction #), OR

     (b) a copy of a cashed money order, OR

     (c) a copy of a cashed check, OR

     (d) any receipt that states the alarm was purchased from Alarmsellout, LLC. within the last 12 months.

 

2:  (a) If purchased from an ebay auction, Positive Feedback must be left within 30 days of the auction ending, OR,

     (b) you must have ordered directly from our website or by phone (a non-ebay transaction.)

 

3:  The factory seals were not broken, removed, or otherwise destroyed from the product(s).

 

You may request a written notice exempting you from any or all of the 3 terms above.  However, exempt requests will be granted on a per request basis and we may decline your request for any reason.

 

WARRANTY VOID

The customer will automatically void the free warranty if any of the following occur.

1: .the transaction took place longer than 365 days ago, OR

2:  the customer left Alarmsellout, LLC. Neutral or Negative Feedback on ebay, OR

3.  if any product seals are not in their original factory condition, the serial number or date code are defaced,

     altered, or missing, or if the owner or any representative of Alarmsellout, LLC. feels the purchaser or person

     filing a claim is acting in bad faith, OR

4.  the customer filed a chargeback dispute with Paypal, their credit card company, bank, or any other financial

     institution at any time (even if eventually resolved.)

 

Alarmsellout, LLC. has the sole rights to deny, choose not to warrant, or refuse such warranties for any reason Alarmsellout, LLC. feels fit.  It should be noted that Alarrmsellout, LLC. will try to be as fair as possible.

 

RETURN SHIPPING & HANDLING FOR DEFECTIVE PARTS

The customer is responsible to pay for the return shipping and handing that may be encored when returning a defective part.  Furthermore, we may require the customer to pay the exact shipping amount to ship the replacement part back to the customer.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

It should be noted that Alarmsellout, LLC. warrants all of its products from defects caused by what is considered to be normal use.

 

Alarmsellout, LLC. does not warrant damaged products from installation errors (i.e. an installer connecting a (-) wire to a (+) wire causing damage to our products,) damaged caused by installing our product in a manner not intended for it's use (i.e. installing vehicle power door locks on a door on a home,) or any other damage that is not considered to be normal use.  Alarmsellout, LLC. does not warrant the screen on LCD Remotes or key fobs since remotes are easily dropped, sat on, or caused to break from other normal use.  However, the functionality of the LCD Remotes and key fobs will be covered under our limited warranty if we feel fit.

 

The purchaser is responsible to pay for return shipping and handling and must obtain a Return Authorization Number before returning any products for review.  Alarmsellout, LLC. has the right to refuse any returns without a Return Authorization Number.

 

At Alarmsellout, LLC.'s descressen, Alarmsellout, LLC. warrants all of our products to the original purchaser of our products for the first year after the original sales date.  The purchaser is responsible to keep all sales records and must provide proof of purchase, proof of the purchase date, and proof of original ownership upon Alarmsellout, LLC's request.  Alarmsellout, LLC. may choose not to request such information if all required information can be located in Alarmsellout, LLC.'s records.

 

 

 Return Policy

Car Alarms & Accessories:

 

To make a return, please contact us within 7 days of your purchase. There will be a 20% restocking fee for returned items that have a broken red factory seal.  Returned items must be in new or 'like new' condition or we will not accept them.  Shipping and handling fees are never refundable.  Returns that have an intact red factory seal can be returned for a full refund minus shipping costs.

 

If you would like to exchange your item(s) for a store credit, the restocking fee is negotiable as long as your returned item(s) are in their new factory condition.

 

How much is the restocking fee?

We charge between a 10% to 20% restocking fee.  In some cases this fee is calculated based upon the difference an item will sell for after being returned to us.

 

Why do we charge a restocking fee?

We charge a restocking fee to cover non-refundable advertising costs, ebay listing costs, ebay final value costs, paypal costs, credit card processing costs, drop shipping costs, packaging costs, labor costs, re-casing costs, and other costs that are involved with accepting returns.

 

Please understand no matter how new the item appears when it is returned, it is imposable for us to sell a used item at the same price.  People are unwilling to pay the same price for a used item.

 

RMA Number Required

All returns MUST have a Return Merchandise Authorization(RMA) Number on the front of the package or it will not be accepted.  If located within the USA, we also require you to ship the return package by USPS mail since our return address is a Post Office Box.  (Sorry, we can not accept mail at our physical address.)  If located in Canada, we ask that you send your package by UPS to our post office box and we will pick the item up from our local UPS Center after receiving the arrival notice.  We do not require you to purchase shipping insurance, but recommend that you add a tracking number (no signature required) which will help us locate your package more quickly.

 

NOTE:  Since we accept returns for dissatisfied customers, there should never be a need to leave us neutral or negative feedback on ebay.  If you leave us a neutral or negative feedback on ebay, we will not accept your return.

 


House Alarms & Accessories:

 

Items that are in new or 'like new' condition can be returned to us within 7 days of your purchase date.

A restocking fee will apply and shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.

 

Why do we charge a restocking fee?

We charge a restocking fee to cover non-refundable advertising costs, ebay listing costs, ebay final value costs, paypal costs, credit card processing costs, drop shipping costs, packaging costs, labor costs, re-casing costs, and other costs that are involved with accepting returns.

How much is the restocking fee?

We charge a $10 to $15 restocking fee for our basic alarm system which covers 1 Keypad, 3 Door Sensors, 1 Motion Detector, 2 Remotes, and 1 Power Supply.  If your alarm system came with additional components, there will be an additional restocking fee based on our restocking fee schedule below.  Please understand we may charge up to the dollar amount indicated, but in most cases the higher amounts only apply if we feel the item needs to be re-cased.

Explanation of the term New

This indicates the item is in new condition, the same condition it was sent to you in.  The item may have been looked at, taking out of it's box, etc., but indicates the item was never mounted, programmed, or used.

 

Explanation of the term Like-New

This indicates the item is in like-new condition.  The item may have been looked at, taking out of it's box, programmed, mounted, or used, but the appearance of the item must be in a like-new resalable condition.

 

We determine the condition of the items and we will be as fair as possible.

The purpose of our restocking fees are to cover our costs.

 

Other Options

 

Store Credit:  If you would like to exchange your items for a store credit, the restocking fee is negotiable as long as your returned item(s) are in their new factory condition.

 

NOTE:  Since we accept returns for dissatisfied customers, there should never be a need to leave us neutral or negative feedback on ebay.  If you leave us a neutral or negative feedback on ebay, we will not accept your return.

 Billing & Shipping Addresses

If paying with Paypal, we require you to pay using a confirmed billing address.  However, if eligible, you may be able to pay using a non-confirmed shipping address.  If you have over 50 positive feedback ratings on ebay, but Paypal will not allow you to pay using a non-confirmed shipping address, we ask that you enter the name and address you would like the order shipped to in the Paypal comments.  We will then make a decision when processing your order to ship it to the confirmed billing address or requested non-confirmed address in the paypal comments.

 

If you contact us by Email or Phone with an address change, we may not be able to honor your request.  We will attempt to change the shipping address before your item is shipped, but in some cases we are unable to change the address.  This is because we do not ship all of our own products.  In other cases, we are unable to add comments on your account.  Although one of our employees may receive your address change request, another employee may not see the notice until after your item has already been shipped.  This is especially true for express packages were the turn over time is rather quick.

 

We only guaranty orders to be shipped to the address specified in the shipping section of your paypal payment.  In the event we confirm receiving your address change request by phone or email, yet the item ended up not being shipped to corrected address, you are responsible to retrieve the package from the shipping address that was specified in the paypal payment.

 


 Credit Card & Paypal Claims and Disputes

Although rare, packages can sometimes be lost by the USPS or UPS and/or we may make shipping mistakes.  Please keep in mind we are only human and may make a shipping mistake from time to time.  We ask that you contact us directly and notify us about any mistakes that were made.  We will do our best to correct the mistake within a timely fashion upon confirmation of the claimed mistake.  Please do not file a paypal or credit card dispute unless direct by us to file the claim.  If you decide to file a paypal or credit card dispute, we will no longer be willing to work with you directly and will be bound by our merchant's terms(including Paypal's terms if applicable.)  FILING A CLAIM WILL ALSO VOID OUR RETURN POLICIES AS STATED IN OUR ABOVE TERMS.  Once a claim has been filed, a NO REFUND POLICY will replace our above return policies.  This will not be reversed even if the claim is canceled.  No Exceptions!

 

Why do we have this policy?

We have this policy to encourage you to contact us directly if a problem occurs.  It is much easier and less timely for us to correct a concern ourselves.  If you file with our merchant(s), we must report all activities to them.  This takes a lot more time to print supporting documentation, fax or mail it to our merchants, and follow-up on any further questions they may have for us.  In some cases, we are charged a fee no matter if we refund your account or not.  Finally, when you file a dispute with our merchant instead of simply notifying us, you are in sense informing our merchant we refused to correspond with you and/or are committing fraud.  We do not appreciate such accusations and therefore follow all our merchants guidelines to a T, which state we must use our merchant's dispute process.

 


 Wiring Diagram Disclaimer

Although an estimated 99.99% of all the wiring diagrams we provide to our customers are accurate, we do not guarantee or warranty the accuracy of the wire colors, diagrams, or any other information provide to you.  Furthermore, Alarmsellout, LLC. disclaims any responsibility or liability in connection with installation or use of any material disclosed to you.  The purchaser, installer, and anyone else affiliated with wiring diagrams that were received from Alarmsellout, LLC., takes all responsibility of damages that may be or have been caused.

 

Alarmsellout, LLC. reminds the consumer that all wiring diagrams are only guides for installs, but should be used for informational purposes only and not for an actual installation of a product.  This also includes, but is not limited to, manuals, customized diagrams, hardcopies, and any information found on our support, sales, or other website pages.  Furthermore, Alarmsellout, LLC. does not charge a fee for wiring diagrams, but is rather accepting a donation which is used to help better Alarmsellout, LLC.'s website and support pages.

 


 Window Warning Sticker Disclaimer

It should be clearly noted our WARNING STICKERS should only be used as a theft deterrent device.  The warning stickers do not indicate your security system is monitored nor do they indicate that you have a security system.  Alarmsellout, LLC. does not provide a monitoring service nor is a service being provided as these warning stickers indicate.  The phone number and website on the security sticker are those of ASO Security.  When contacting us, please contact us at 410-202-2023, not the toll free number listed on the sticker.  Thank you.

 

To the maximum extent allowed by law, neither Alarmsellout LLC., people associated with Alarmsellout, LLC., or the manufacturer of the product or any entities connected there within, shall not be responsible or liable for any damages whatsoever.  This includes, but is not limited to, any incidental damages, consequential damages, damages for loss of earnings, loss of time, commercial or non-commercial loss, loss of economic opportunity, losses from theft, losses from fire, losses from any other type of casualty, or any other type of loss.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, neither Alarmsellout LLC., people associated with Alarmsellout, LLC., or the manufacturer of the product or any entities connected there within, shall not be responsible or liable for any damages whatsoever.  This includes, but is not limited to, any incidental damages, consequential damages, damages for loss of earnings, loss of time, commercial or non-commercial loss, loss of economic opportunity, losses from theft, losses from fire, losses from any other type of casualty, or any other type of loss.

 

Alarmsellout, LLC. is not liable or responsible for any damages that may be or may have been caused by our products or caused by our manufacturer's products.  Alarmsellout, LLC. is also not liable for damages that may have been caused by what is considered normal use, unforeseen problems, or foreseen problems.  This includes but is not limited to:  a car starter activating expectively or unexpectively causes damage or bodily harm.  It should be noted that we strongly discourage installing these types of systems into manual transmission vehicles since the risk is so great of causing damages, harm, bodily harm, incidental damages, consequential damages, damages for loss of earnings, loss of time, commercial or non-commercial loss, loss of economic opportunity, or any other type of loss.  The purchaser takes all every responsibility when purchasing or using our products.  Furthermore, the purchaser and/or end user of our products understands the potential problems that may arise as described in our terms and policies.
